In March 2006, TransLink (the Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority) concluded a project agreement with the Golden Crossing General Partnership. Under this agreement, the General Partnership is to oversee the design, construction, operation, maintenance and rehabilitation of the Golden Ears Bridge and associated mainline roads for 35.5 years – that is, until 2041.
